Hammond Report September 19 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organ player & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story I'm playing an organ trio gig in Bolinas, California at good old Smiley's Schooner Saloon (and hotel), an old standard from the 1952 movie One Minute to Zero - When I Fall in Love, Jon Otis drums, Barry Finnerty guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ - I'm playing my org through my trusty 1965 Fender Bandmaster amp. And some stories about going all over the world with my Sony industrial GCS-1 Betamovie camera - I wore 3 of them out, but the footage holds up well today from 1986 when I started shooting those cameras for my cable TV show.
