Hammond Report April 14 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story about playing a gig in NYC at a place called Cleopatra's Needle - the first time I played there the owner said we could order hamburgers. The next time I told the cats they could order burgers, at end of the night he wouldn't pay for the stupid hamburgers so I paid, I'm sure not going to make the musicians pay - no business like the music business folks - very typical. Anyway it was fun having Matt Smith guitar on the band and Clarence Tootsie Bean drums - the young saxophonist changed his name from Brett Ryan, can't remember newest name - have a great Wednesday folks, come back tomorrow for another Hammond Report,
